Miami Beach, FL (PRLEAK) October 3, 2010 – An alarming statistic that ought not to be ignored is the 600 deaths of children annually from home fires. In addition, over 40,000 children are injured in home fires, giving rise to the need for efficient smoke alarms. According to research, 85% of children below 15 are oblivious to the sound of standard smoke alarms, and will not respond appropriately.
